Living BECOME
At Living BECOME, we deliver engaging, age-appropriate programming that helps students build the social-emotional and durable skills they need to succeed in school and beyond. Through integrated-workforce development programs, assemblies, interactive workshops, group coaching, and experiential learning, particpants develop durable skills, emotional regulation, communication, and decision-making skills.
Our approach meets students where they are—creating safe, supportive environments where they can build confidence, strengthen relationships, and develop the tools to navigate challenges both inside and outside the classroom.
The mental health crisis currently inflicting the population, especially young people, is an outcome of increased:
-
societal pressures
-
use of social media
-
time spent in the digital world
-
isolation
-
lack of social and emotional development
TRANSFORMATIONAL COACHING
The Living Become
Self-Discovery Journal
The journal is based on research, current trends and what Kristin has witnessed and learned from being with young people on the field and in the classroom. It teaches the relationship between the mind, body and heart and gets the reader moving, thinking and feeling in order to experience and understand this connection. It is fun and insightful while providing a series of exercises and questions that teach the reader about themselves and how they move through the world.
As one teacher stated,
"As a teacher for 26 years, I give this self discovery journal extremely high ratings! I’ve seen a rapid decline in our youth’s mental health, as well as with my own teen. This journal helped my students become mindful in coping with everyday challenges which benefits them academically, and socially. It is clear, engaging, motivational and fun! It’s exactly what teachers are looking for in order to implement SEL as part of their curriculum to best support students. Finally there’s an easy to follow and effective tool to address the needs of our struggling students."
